JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for a positive, engaged teacher in Math/Science who can become part of a professional and wonderful subject team/work team. The subject team consists of competent teachers who together drive and analyze the teaching. Work that has been carried out during the year has been that students are offered a cooperative perspective on teaching. The result of the work has increased students' awareness of subject-specific words and concepts. The teaching consists of repeated opportunities for students to be active in conversations to increase their confidence in mathematics.

Mentorship is included in the position along with another colleague. The mentorship involves creating relationships with and between the students in the class. Working with the plan against harassment and bullying becomes a living document.

Contact with guardians and external partners is included in the mentorship. The school has a student coordinator who provides mentors with support regarding absenteeism and investigation of bullying.

There are of course opportunities to use modern pedagogy where technology supports students' learning. Both you and the students have personal digital tools, and projectors are available in every classroom.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a qualified primary school teacher with subject competence in mathematics and science. Your work is based on scientific principles and proven experience.

We believe that you easily create relationships, enjoy working together in teams, and inspire and are inspired by your colleagues in the work team. You believe in collaboration and contribute collegially to both your own and your colleagues' development.

You are convinced that all children and students can succeed and that you are a very important part of that. You recognize the importance of rich and broad teaching/operations and are stimulated by the work of searching for methods for each child's learning. You enjoy and are good at working closely with students in an active mentorship.

Using digital tools is a natural part of your teaching profession, and you strive to develop your own and especially the students' digital competence.

We need you who are ready to wholeheartedly invest in the children/students and are flexible and attentive to both children and parents. You should be able to use a solution-focused approach and have the ability to elicit trust from students and parents.

The psychosocial work environment should be based on openness, collaboration, and curiosity.
